Rafael Cherkaski

Rafael Cherkaski, a French artist and director, was born in 1984 in Lyon. His formative years were spent in the DOM-TOM, where he nurtured a burgeoning interest in the arts. Upon returning to France, he pursued his passion by enrolling in an applied arts school. However, after a few months of discontent, Cherkaski chose to transfer to the prestigious Beaux-Arts in Paris. This vibrant institution provided him with ample opportunities to explore his creativity, leading him to create numerous performances and short films.

In 2013, Cherkaski made his directorial debut with the feature film "Sorgoï Prakov, my European dream," showcasing his unique vision and storytelling abilities. Four years later, he appeared in the final episode of Victor Bonnefoy's web series "Unknown Movies," where he portrayed himself, further blending his artistic pursuits with personal expression.
