Hani Al Naimi
Hani Al Naimi, originally named Michael Anthony Desante, is a talented Arab American actor, writer, and director with roots in Palestine. Born in Bethlehem, he spent his formative years in Beirut, Lebanon, before moving to the UK. At the age of nine, he began his education at Fettes College for Boys in Edinburgh and later attended Hurtwood House in Surrey, where he honed his love for performance. Hani's passion for acting blossomed during his early school days, where he participated in productions of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Much Ado About Nothing." A pivotal moment came at age 12 when he was chosen for the choir in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat" during its Edinburgh premiere, later performing in "Jesus Christ Superstar" as well.
After completing his schooling, Hani relocated to the United States to further his academic pursuits, achieving both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. His unwavering commitment to acting and storytelling led to a breakthrough when casting director Judith Holstra recognized his talent, casting him in his debut film alongside Mariel Hemingway. Since then, Hani has built a diverse career in film and theater, with notable works that showcase his range and depth as a performer, solidifying his reputation in the entertainment industry.
