H. G. Dattatreya

Wing Commander Harihar Gundurao Dattatreya, better known as Dattanna, was born in 1942 and has made a significant impact in the Indian film industry as an accomplished actor. With a prolific career spanning nearly thirty years, he has featured in over 204 films, predominantly within the Kannada cinema landscape, where he is celebrated for his diverse supporting roles.

In addition to his contributions to film, Dattatreya served with distinction in the Indian Air Force for more than two decades, holding the rank of commissioned officer. His expertise also extended to academia, as he held various positions at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), further showcasing his multifaceted talents.
