Glynnis O'Connor
Glynnis O'Connor, born on November 19, 1955, is a prominent American actress celebrated for her impactful performances during the 1970s. She gained notable recognition through her leading roles in the television adaptation of Our Town and in the films Ode to Billy Joe and Jeremy, both of which featured her alongside actor Robby Benson.
Raised in New York City, Glynnis is the daughter of actress Lenka Peterson and film producer Daniel O'Connor. She made a significant impression in 1976 with her role in the emotionally charged film The Boy in the Plastic Bubble, starring John Travolta and Diana Hyland. O'Connor continued to showcase her talent with a recurring role as Anne Paulsen on the long-running series Law & Order from the late 1990s until 2004.
In 2007, she appeared in the independent film P.J., sharing the screen with notable actors such as John Heard, Vincent Pastore, and Robert Picardo. More recently, she has been featured in the film Our Last Days as Children.
O'Connor comes from a creative family, with one of her four brothers being director Brian O'Connor.
