Chris Broderick

Christopher Broderick, born on March 6, 1970, in Lakewood, Colorado, is a prominent guitarist renowned for his work with the acclaimed American thrash metal band Megadeth. Residing in Sherman Oaks, California, Broderick has made significant contributions to the metal genre throughout his career.

Before joining Megadeth, Broderick was the lead guitarist and keyboardist for the band Jag Panzer, where he played a vital role in the creation of their last four albums: *The Age of Mastery*, *Thane to the Throne*, a concept album inspired by Shakespeare's *Macbeth*, *Mechanized Warfare*, and *Casting the Stones*. His exceptional skills and innovative style caught the attention of Megadeth, leading to his recruitment as the lead guitarist in 2008, taking over from Glen Drover.

In addition to his work with Jag Panzer and Megadeth, Broderick also toured with the progressive metal band Nevermore between 2001 and 2003, and again from 2006 to 2007. His versatility and technical prowess have established him as a respected figure in the metal community.
