Jason Patel is an emerging talent making waves in both acting and music. He is set to make his film debut in the leading role of "UNICORNS," an eagerly awaited independent feature that will hit theaters on July 5th and subsequently stream online. The film, directed by Sally El Hosaini and James Krishna Floyd, features notable actor Ben Hardy, and has already garnered significant acclaim, premiering at TIFF23 and BFI LFF. Patel's performance has landed him on several Best Performers lists, while "UNICORNS" has won accolades such as Best of Fest at Palm Springs and BFI Flare.

A graduate of Rose Bruford College, Jason's theatrical journey began with roles like Mowgli in "The Jungle Book" and Tinkerbell in "Peter Pan." His musical career has flourished with singles like "One Last Dance," "6iX," and the recently released "Choclafied." Notably, he contributed original music to "UNICORNS," which will be featured in his upcoming EP, "Delicious," expected later this year.

Patel's artistic achievements have been recognized with honors such as BBC Introducing’s Artist of the Week and PinkNews's recognition as one of the Trailblazing Artists of 2023, alongside notable figures like Ncuti Gatwa. Additionally, audiences can look forward to seeing him in the BBC limited crime drama "VIRDEE," co-starring Staz Nair, directed by Mark Tonderai and produced by Stella Nwimo.
