Aineias Tsamatis

Aineias Tsamatis, born on November 16, 1984, in Elbasan, Albania, is a multifaceted talent in the realms of acting, writing, and directing in both theater and film. He completed his education at the Modern Music School of Athens in 2007 and later graduated from the Higher School of Dramatic Art ARCHI under Nellie Karra in 2011.

Tsamatis made his directorial debut in 2021 with the short film "The Crossing," co-directed with Katerina Mavrogeorgi. His theatrical career is marked by collaborations with prominent directors such as Dimitris Karantzas, performing in notable productions like “The Persians” and “Long Day’s Journey into Night.” His stage presence has also graced works by Aris Biniaris, Ektoras Lygizos, and Lena Kitsopoulou, among others, showcasing his versatility across a range of classic and contemporary plays.

In film, Tsamatis has worked with esteemed filmmakers including Stelios Kammitsis on “Jerks,” Constantina Voulgaris on “A.C.A.B. All Cats Are Brilliant,” and Pantelis Voulgaris in both “Little England” and “The Last Note.” His television credits encompass roles in series such as “Dark Sea,” “Postcards,” and “One Night in August.”
