Michael Bonacini, a prominent figure in the culinary world, is best known as the co-founder of Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants, one of Canada’s premier fine dining establishments, which boasts 11 distinctive restaurants across Ontario. His culinary journey began with classical training under the esteemed Chef Anton Mosimann at the Dorchester Hotel in London. In 1985, Bonacini made the leap to Canada, and in 1993, he teamed up with seasoned restaurateur Peter Oliver to establish their culinary legacy.

Their inaugural venture, Jump, was a New York-style bistro that set the stage for a remarkable expansion over the next two decades. Today, Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants encompasses a diverse array of dining options, including à la carte experiences, quick service eateries, catering services, group dining, and special event planning, complemented by an artisan bakery and a chocolate shop.
