Azmil Mustapha

Azmil Mustapha Kamil (1 January 1953 – 14 February 2018) was a prominent Malaysian actor and religious speaker who gained tremendous popularity in the late 1980s. He made a significant impact in the film industry with his debut performance as Shamyl in the blockbuster movie Mekanik (1983), which captivated audiences and solidified his status as a leading man in Malaysian cinema.

Throughout his career, Azmil became known not only for his acting talent but also for his compelling presence on screen. He was laid to rest at the Muslim Cemetery in Shah Alam Section 21, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire future generations in both acting and faith.
