Miranda Campa
Miranda Campa (31 January 1914 – 7 May 1989) was an accomplished actress and voice artist, originally from Switzerland but later becoming a prominent figure in Italian cinema and theater.
Born Liliana Campa Capodaglio in Geneva, she hailed from a family steeped in the performing arts, being the niece of celebrated actors Pio Campa and Wanda Capodaglio. Miranda honed her craft at the prestigious Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she graduated in 1938. Throughout her career, she made significant contributions to the theatrical scene, collaborating with renowned directors and actors such as Vittorio Gassman, Andreina Pagnani, and Giorgio Strehler at Milan's Piccolo Teatro.
Campa's cinematic journey began later in life, with her film debut occurring in 1949. She typically portrayed character roles, frequently embodying religious figures, which showcased her versatile acting range. In addition to her film work, she was a prolific voice actress and dubbing artist, lending her talents to various productions.
