Kah-Wai Lim
Kah-Wai Lim is a distinguished filmmaker known for his compelling storytelling and unique cinematic style. He made his directorial debut with the suspenseful feature film *After All These Years*, featuring performances by Wenchao He and Massa Dazhong. Following this success, Lim released *Magic and Loss*, which starred Kim Kkot-bi and Kiki Sugino, and was showcased at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival.
Lim continued to gain recognition with his third film, *New World (Shinsekai Story)*, featuring Tomonaga Koumei and Shi Ka, which premiered at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, further establishing his presence in the global film arena. In 2013, he directed *Fly Me to Minami*, starring Sherine Wong, Kenji Kohashi, and Baek Seol Ah, which was highlighted at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival and garnered a nomination for the Grand Prix at the Osaka Asian Film Festival.
His subsequent projects include *Love in Late Autumn* (2016), with a cast including Irene Wan, Patrick Tam, and Charmaine Fong, and *No Where, Now Here*, which was unveiled at the Osaka Asian Film Festival in 2018. Lim's most recent work, *Somewhen Somewhere*, also premiered at the Osaka Asian Film Festival in 2019, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in contemporary Asian cinema. Through his diverse filmography, Lim continues to captivate audiences with his innovative narratives and cinematic vision.
