Stephen Dunham
Stephen Dunham, an accomplished European-American actor and stunt performer, was born Stephen Dunham Bowers on September 14, 1964, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Frederick Bowers and Sandra Dunham. Raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Dunham went on to marry fellow European-American actress Alexondra Lee.
Dunham gained significant recognition for portraying Isaac Henderson in the popular 1999 film, The Mummy. Although he initially auditioned for the lead role of Rick O'Connell, director Stephen Sommers was impressed with Dunham's talent and cast him as Henderson instead. This pivotal moment launched a diverse career, featuring notable roles such as Hunter Franklin in the short-lived sitcom Oh, Grow Up and Agent Edward Pillows in the series DAG, which aired from 2000 to 2001.
In addition, Dunham had a recurring role as Peter in season 2 of What I Like About You and portrayed Charlie Thorpe in Hot Properties. His extensive television and film credits also include appearances in Monster-in-Law (2005) as Dr. Paul Chamberlain, The Bill Engvall Show (2007), Chad on True Jackson, VP, and a cameo in Get Smart (2008).
In 2011, he showcased his versatility on Hot in Cleveland as an Amish bartender, and in 2012, he delivered his final performance as Doug Nelson in Paranormal Activity 4, alongside his wife, Alexondra Lee. Tragically, Dunham passed away from a heart attack on September 14, 2012, coincidentally on his 48th birthday, in Burbank, California.
