Alison Wheeler
Alison Wheeler, born on July 22, 1986, in Enghien-les-Bains, Val-d'Oise, has French and Irish heritage. She completed her Baccalauréat in humanities at Notre-Dame-de-Bury High School in Margency before pursuing her passion for acting at Cours Florent and Studio Pygmalion, while also attending Paris-Sorbonne IV for further studies.
Wheeler's career took off with appearances in various television series and co-hosting the show Kawai on Filles TV alongside Louise Bourgoin. Her breakout role came when she starred in the film adaptation of Saphia Azzeddine's novel, "Mon père est femme de ménage," where her portrayal of a sister aspiring to be a musical star earned her a nomination for the prestigious César Award for "Most Promising Actress" in 2012. That same year, she also had a small role in the biopic "My Way," directed by Florent Emilio Siri.
In 2012, Wheeler began to build her online presence, initially on MadmoiZelle.com and later joining the internet collective Studio Bagel, which significantly broadened her audience. After Canal+ acquired Studio Bagel, she became a prominent figure on French television, contributing to shows like "Le Dézapping du Before" and "Carte de Presque." Her most notable role began on September 9, 2014, as the weather presenter for "Le Grand Journal" alongside Monsieur Poulpe. In spring 2015, Wheeler decided to leave "Le Grand Journal" to focus on her film career.
