Ashton Chen Xiaolong, widely recognized by his stage name Shi Xiaolong (Chinese: 释小龙), is a prominent Chinese actor and martial artist. Born into a martial arts family, he has been under the guidance of Shi Yongxin, the abbot of the Shaolin Temple, since he was just two years old. Initially named Chen Xiaolong, he received the dharma name Shi Xiaolong as part of his spiritual journey. His martial arts training began early, with instruction from both his father and Shi Yongxin.

At only four years old, Shi Xiaolong showcased his talents at the International Shaolin Kung Fu Festival in Zhengzhou, which marked the beginning of his rise in the entertainment industry. He gained significant fame as a child actor, particularly for his role in the 1994 martial arts comedy "Shaolin Popey II: Messy Temple."

In 2003, Shi Xiaolong took a break from acting to pursue his education in the United States, returning to China in 2005 to play Zhan Zhao in the television series "Young Justice Bao III." After another period of study, he graduated from the prestigious Performing Children's School in New York City in 2008. He resumed his acting career in China and appeared as one of Ip Man's students in the acclaimed 2010 martial arts film "Ip Man 2." Throughout his career, Shi Xiaolong has made a lasting impact on both the film and martial arts communities.
