David Vogt, recognized by his stage name Charles Greywolf, is a prominent German musician, producer, mixer, and recording engineer. He is widely acclaimed as the rhythm guitarist for the revered power metal band Powerwolf, which he co-founded in 2003 with fellow musician Benjamin Buss. The duo adopted unique personas—Vogt as Charles Greywolf and Buss as Matthew Greywolf—crafting intricate backstories that added depth to their music. This creative venture soon expanded to include members from the band Red Aim.
In addition to his work with Powerwolf, Greywolf has been a part of Flowing Tears since 2007 and has contributed to other projects such as Red Aim and Heavatar. His musical influence extends beyond performance; he is also an accomplished record producer. Greywolf has lent his expertise to numerous albums, collaborating with a variety of artists, including Autumnblaze, Demon Incarnate, Dying Gorgeous Lies, Gloryful, Godslave, and Hammer King, among others.
