Yakov Protazanov

Yakov Alexandrovich Protazanov (Russian: Яков Александрович Протазанов; February 4, 1881 – August 8, 1945) stands as a pivotal figure in the evolution of Russian and Soviet cinema. With a career that spanned several decades, he became renowned for his innovative contributions as both a film director and screenwriter.
