Sky du Mont, originally named Cayetano Neven du Mont, was born on May 20, 1947, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a prominent German actor, best recognized for his performance in Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut," his portrayal of "Santa Maria" in "Der Schuh des Manitu," and for providing the voice for the German version of "Thomas & Friends."

Throughout his personal life, du Mont has been married five times. His current wife, Mirja Dumont, shares two children with him, Tara Neven du Mont and Fayn Neven du Mont. He also has an eldest son, Justin Neven du Mont, from a previous relationship.

In his early career, Sky du Mont made an uncredited cameo in the acclaimed film "Das Boot," where he appeared as an officer on the resupply ship Weser. While his role is minor in both the theatrical and director's cuts, he has a more complete appearance in the uncut mini-series. Additionally, he featured as "Herzog William der Letzte" in "Traumschiff Surprise – Periode 1" and portrayed one of the Nazi assassins in "The Boys from Brazil." Beyond acting, du Mont is also known for his extensive voiceover work, lending his voice to commercials and providing television continuity for the German channel Pro 7.
