Camélia Jordana Riad-Aliouane, born on September 15, 1992, in Toulon, France, is a talented pop singer and actress known for her captivating voice and dynamic performances. She gained prominence after showcasing her remarkable talent on the reality show Nouvelle Star, the French equivalent of Pop Idol, in 2009, where she secured a commendable third place.

Jordana hails from a culturally rich background, with her father, Hachemi, being of Berber Kabyle ancestry and her mother, Zélihka, originating from Oran, Algeria. She spent her childhood in La Londe-les-Maures alongside her older sister and younger brother.

At just sixteen, she auditioned for the seventh season of Nouvelle Star in Marseille, impressing the judges with her rendition of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World." Following her exit from the competition, she signed with Sony Music and released her self-titled debut album on March 29, 2010, which debuted at number nine on the French SNEP Album Chart, selling over 10,000 copies in its first week.

Her debut single, "Non Non Non (Écouter Barbara)," though a digital release, achieved significant success, peaking at number three on the French digital charts and also charting in Belgium and Switzerland. In addition to her music career, Jordana served as a jury member for the Semaine de la Critique section at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Notably, on November 27, 2015, she performed at a national memorial for victims of the Paris attacks, honoring them with Jacques Brel’s poignant song “Quand on n'a que l'amour.”
