James Urbaniak
James Christian Urbaniak, born on September 17, 1963, in Bayonne, New Jersey, is a prominent American actor. He currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with his wife Julie and their twin children, son Severn Jerzy and daughter Esme Maeve.
Urbaniak gained early recognition for his performance in Richard Foreman's avant-garde production, The Universe, which earned him an Obie Award. His cinematic work includes notable performances in the films Henry Fool and American Splendor, where he portrayed the iconic illustrator R. Crumb. For his role in Thom Pain (based on nothing), he received a nomination for a Drama Desk Award. Additionally, Urbaniak lends his voice to Dr. Thaddeus Venture, the lead character in the animated series The Venture Bros., as well as his brother Jonas Venture Junior and the villain Phantom Limb.
In a lesser-known but memorable role, Urbaniak appeared as a pizza delivery man in the famous Budweiser "Whassup?" commercials. He also took on the role of the moderator in "Human Centipede Anonymous," a comedic short produced by Funny or Die, which humorously explores the lives of three men dealing with their unique past experiences as part of a human centipede.
