Ain Lutsepp

Ain Lutsepp, an accomplished Estonian actor and politician, was born on May 6, 1954, in Tallinn. His artistry began at a young age when he made his film debut as Tõnisson in the 1969 Estonian film *Kevade*, directed by Arvo Kruusement. This movie, based on Oskar Luts' beloved 1913 novel, marked the start of a lifelong passion for the performing arts.

Lutsepp completed his secondary education at Tallinn 10th Secondary School, now known as Tallinn Nõmme Gymnasium, in 1972. He furthered his studies at the Tallinn State Conservatory, graduating from the Performing Arts Department in 1980 under the guidance of Merle Karusoo. His graduating class included several prominent figures in Estonian theater, such as actors Roman Baskin, Guido Kangur, Arvo Kukumägi, Paul Poom, Anne Veesaar, and Ülle Kaljuste.
