Shaun Parkes
Shaun Parkes, born on February 9, 1973, is a prominent English actor celebrated for his diverse roles in film and television. He gained significant recognition for portraying Koop in the cult classic "Human Traffic" and Izzy Buttons in the adventure film "The Mummy Returns."
Parkes began his artistic journey at the young age of 16 when he enrolled in drama studies at Seltec College. His talent earned him a place at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) just two years later. After honing his craft in various theatre and television roles, he achieved his breakout performance in the 1999 film "Human Traffic." His filmography has since expanded to include noteworthy titles such as "Clubbed," "Things to Do Before You're 30," and the critically acclaimed "Notes on a Scandal."
In addition to his film work, Parkes has made his mark on television with appearances in series like "Lock, Stock...," "Servants," and Russell T Davies' "Casanova" and "Doctor Who."
