Cheryl Hall
Cheryl Hall, born on July 23, 1950, in London, is a distinguished British actress celebrated for her memorable performances in television and film. She gained prominence for her role as Shirley, the girlfriend of Wolfie Smith, in the beloved British sitcom "Citizen Smith." Hall's versatility as an actress is evident in her appearances in various other television series, including playing Rodney Bewes' girlfriend in "Dear Mother...Love Albert," and portraying a clippy in the "On the Buses" episode titled "The Epidemic."
Her career also includes a notable role in the "Doctor Who" episode "Carnival of Monsters" in 1973, where she was briefly considered for the companion role of Jo Grant, ultimately awarded to Katy Manning. Additionally, she appeared as an inmate in "Within These Walls" (1974) and was featured as David Jason's love interest in the ITV sitcom "Lucky Feller."
