Sahana Srinivasan
Sahana Srinivasan, an Indian American actress, writer, and filmmaker, was born in 1996 in Houston, Texas, and has called Dallas home since she was two years old. Raised in a Tamil-speaking household that embraced Hindu customs, Sahana seamlessly weaves her cultural heritage into her artistic endeavors. Her passion for the performing arts emerged early on, as she began crafting and performing original skits and monologues, along with engaging in piano and Bharatanatyam dance.
At just 13 years old, Sahana took her first steps into formal acting training at Cathryn Sullivan's Acting for Film program, which set the foundation for her later studies in film production at the University of Texas at Austin. Alongside her acting pursuits, she also showcases her comedic talents through stand-up, sketch, and improvisational comedy at various local venues, often delivering a unique blend of satire and absurdity that reflects her personal narrative and cultural identity.
