Clea Lewis, born on July 19, 1965, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, is an accomplished American actress widely recognized for her role as the quirky Audrey Penney in Ellen DeGeneres' iconic sitcom, *Ellen*. The daughter of a writer and a former vaudeville performer who later became a lawyer, Lewis graduated from Brown University in 1987. She is married to Peter Ackerman, and together they have two sons, Stanley and Alvin.

Lewis has made notable appearances on various television shows, including *The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air* and *Flying Blind*. She gained additional fame with a memorable cameo as Frannie in the inaugural episode of *Friends*.
