Abi Van Andel

Abi Van Andel's journey began on a modest farm in rural Michigan, where her early life cultivated a strong work ethic and a passion for the arts. She pursued her dreams at Syracuse University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. Her diverse performance repertoire spans Shakespearean and classical theatre, as well as film, improv, and sketch comedy.

One of Abi's standout roles was in the critically acclaimed film *Dark Waters*, where she shared the screen with esteemed actors Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway, under the direction of Todd Haynes. Following this success, she took on a significant role alongside Robert De Niro in the upcoming film *Alto Knights*, directed by Barry Levinson, which is set to premiere in November 2024.

In addition to her acting career, Abi has made her mark as a producer. She was involved in the gripping Appalachian thriller *M30Oxy*, which delves into the opioid crisis, and is also credited with producing *LandLord*, a vampire thriller that tackles social justice issues. *LandLord* is set to make its debut at the Frontieres Market during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, showcasing her commitment to impactful storytelling.
