Esther Scott
Esther Scott (April 13, 1953 – February 14, 2020) was a talented American actress renowned for her versatile performances in both television and film. Born in Flushing, Queens, New York, Scott's family relocated to Brooklyn during her childhood, where her passion for acting blossomed at the Bronx High School of Science. She later pursued her education in theater arts at San Francisco State University, solidifying her foundation in the performing arts.
Scott's career commenced as a voice actress for the animated series Star Wars: Ewoks, which set the stage for her subsequent television appearances. She showcased her talent in well-known shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Full House, and Party of Five, as well as in Ellen, The Steve Harvey Show, and Sister, Sister.
One of her notable roles was as Gladys, the housekeeper on the ABC sitcom The Geena Davis Show (2000-2001). Additionally, she had recurring parts in City Guys (1998-2001), The Help (2004), and Hart of Dixie (2011-2015), portraying Delma Warner.
