Damon Martin is a prominent American film producer known for his extensive work in the independent film sector. Since 2004, he has held the title of Executive Producer on a variety of films, showcasing his talent and commitment to the industry. He founded Departure Studios, where he served as President, overseeing post-production audio services for nearly fifty independent feature films. This venture thrived until its acquisition by Ian Colhoun, the owner of Black Satellite Records, at which point it was rebranded as Black Satellite Sound Post.

In 2007, while leading Departure Studios, Damon joined forces with Michael Roban, CEO of Cold Fusion Media Group, to facilitate financing options for independent filmmakers. This partnership provided essential resources such as finishing funds, tax credits, and mezzanine lending. However, Damon stepped away from Cold Fusion Media Group in June 2009 to explore new opportunities.

Beyond his accomplishments in film, Damon has made significant contributions to the music industry as well. He played bass for the band Naked and co-wrote the hit rock song "Mann's Chinese," which reached the Billboard Top Ten. Additionally, he was recognized with a Gavin award for the Top 40 Song of the Year for "Raining on the Sky." He also produced the Latin Jazz album "Black Orchid," collaborating with the esteemed bassist Al McKibbon, further highlighting his diverse talents.
