Manny Jacinto
Manny Jacinto, born on August 19, 1987, is a talented Canadian actor with Filipino roots. Originally from Manila, Philippines, he relocated to Canada at the age of three and grew up in Richmond, British Columbia. Jacinto began his academic journey studying civil engineering at the University of British Columbia but soon discovered his passion for acting, leading him to shift his focus to performance arts.
He launched his career with minor roles in popular TV shows such as Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, and iZombie. However, it was his portrayal of Jason Mendoza in the acclaimed NBC sitcom The Good Place in 2016 that catapulted him to fame, allowing him to showcase his comedic talents and charm to a broader audience.
Jacinto's film credits include prominent roles in Bad Times at the El Royale (2018) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022), further establishing his presence in the industry. In 2024, he took on the role of Qimir in the highly anticipated Star Wars series, The Acolyte. Additionally, he lent his voice to Scott Denoga in the Disney Channel animated series Hailey's On It!, which aired from 2023 to 2024.
