Peter Holland

Peter Holland is an accomplished character actor with a distinguished career primarily rooted in the theater. He has portrayed iconic figures such as Don Quixote, Abraham Lincoln, Cyrano de Bergerac, Sherlock Holmes, and Felix Unger, showcasing his versatility on stage. In addition to acting, Peter is a talented playwright, credited with works such as Heaven on Wheels, The Living Storybook, and Mr. Lincoln's Office, the latter of which earned him a nomination for the Virginia Governor's Arts Award in 2008.

Residing near the picturesque Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia with his wife, Christina, and their son, Ben, Peter co-founded an educational theater company named Once Upon a Blue Ridge. This company has successfully toured their original plays aimed at young audiences throughout the Carolinas and Virginia.

In the realm of film, Peter's notable contributions include portraying Thomas Jefferson in the historical documentary *Alexander Hamilton: Favorite Son* (2003) and appearing both as himself and Abraham Lincoln in the mockumentary *Becoming Abe* (2010). His role as Uncle Otto in the Stephen King short film, *Uncle Otto's Truck* (2019), earned him the title of Best Actor, as recognized by Anthony Northrup in *Stephen King Dollar Baby: the Book* (2021).

Currently, Peter is set to star as Charlie, an aging actor hiding in an abandoned amusement park, in the upcoming thriller *Population Purge*, directed by Brian Johnson and Toby Osbourne, anticipated for release in 2022.
