Daresha Kyi
Daresha Kyi is an accomplished filmmaker currently finalizing her latest project, the feature documentary *Black Voters Matter*. In 2018, she was chosen by the ACLU to helm the film *Trans in America: Texas Strong*, which resonated widely, achieving over 3.5 million views online. This impactful work premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival and went on to win two prestigious Webby Awards, as well as an Emmy for “Outstanding Short Documentary,” highlighting Kyi's talent in addressing critical social issues through her art.
