Lou Simon is a multifaceted talent in the film industry, known for her roles as a writer, producer, and director. Born in Havana, Cuba, she immigrated to the United States at the tender age of nine to escape the communist regime. Her passion for storytelling ignited early, as she began crafting short stories at just ten years old. Despite her creative inclinations, Lou initially ventured into the legal field, earning her degree from New York University School of Law.

In 2010, Lou rekindled her passion for writing and took a decisive step in 2011 by producing one of her own scripts. This marked the beginning of a prolific period in her career, during which she wrote, produced, and directed four feature films within four years: *HazMat*, *Agoraphobia*, *All Girls Weekend*, and *3: An Eye for an Eye*, as well as *73 Minutes*. Each of these films gained international distribution and garnered numerous accolades at various film festivals, showcasing her talent and dedication.

Most recently, Lou completed principal photography on her thriller, *9 Windows*, and is currently developing her next project, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi feature titled *Adam 6*.
