Kim Hee-seon
Kim Hee-seon, a distinguished actress and model, was born in 1977 and graduated from Chungang University with a degree in Theater and Film. Her journey into the entertainment industry began at a young age when she won the Fair Face Beauty Contest in 1992 during her middle school years, subsequently launching her modeling career in teen magazines. In 1993, she made her television debut in a Samsung commercial, followed by her first acting role in the series *Dinosaur Teacher*.
By the mid-1990s, Kim had risen to prominence as one of South Korea's leading television stars, appearing in celebrated dramas such as *Men of the Bath House* (1995), *Propose* (1997), *Wedding Dress* (1997), and *Mister Q* (1998), the latter of which earned her accolades at the SBS Drama Awards. Other significant works included *Sunflower* (1998) and *Tomato* (1999).
In 1997, she ventured into film, though her cinematic success did not match her television acclaim. Notable film appearances include *Repechage* (1997) alongside Jang Dong-gun and the high-profile martial arts film *Bichunmoo* (2000). In 2001, she transformed her image for the romantic comedy *Wanee and Junah* and starred in *A Letter From Mars* (2003), her last Korean film. Kim has continued to shine on television while also appearing in international films such as *The Myth* (2005) with Jackie Chan and *The Warring States* (2011).
