Jonjo O'Neill, a talented actor hailing from Northern Ireland, has made a significant mark in both stage and television. Born in Belfast and raised in the Whiterock Road neighborhood, he attended St Mary's Grammar School, where his passion for musical theatre flourished. O'Neill honed his skills with the Ulster Youth Theatre and performed with the Ulster Theatre Company. His dedication to acting earned him a full scholarship to the Guildford School of Acting in 1996, leading him to England to pursue his dreams.

O'Neill's television debut came shortly after graduating in 1999 with a role in *Extremely Dangerous*. He became a prominent member of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) from 2009 to 2011, showcasing his versatility in acclaimed productions such as Mercutio in *Romeo and Juliet*, Orlando in *As You Like It*, and Launcelot in *Morte D'Arthur*. His performances during the RSC’s New York residency received high praise, described as both "forceful" and "irresistible."

In 2012, he garnered acclaim for his role in Lucy Prebble's *The Effect* at the Royal National Theatre, sharing the stage with Billie Piper. O'Neill further cemented his versatility by appearing alongside her in the landmark 2013 *Doctor Who* episode, "The Day of the Doctor." Additionally, he showcased his talent in the Coen brothers' film *The Ballad of Buster Scruggs* (2018) in the segment titled "The Mortal Remains."
