Alessandra Sublet
Alessandra Sublet, originally named Alexandra Sublet, was born on October 5, 1976, in Lyon, France. She is a prominent presenter in both radio and television, known for her role as the host of the daily show C à vous, which aired on France 5 from September 2009 until June 2013.
Raised in a family with a sports background—her father, Joël Sublet, played soccer for Olympique Lyonnais in the 1970s—Alessandra is also related to soccer player Willy Sagnol. During her childhood, she pursued classical dance at the Alain Astié school in Lyon and sought to join the Opéra de Paris but was turned away due to her height of 1.60 meters. After completing her baccalauréat, she studied communications and audiovisual media at ISCPA in Lyon.
Sublet's television career commenced in 2003, where she contributed as a columnist for Match TV’s J'y étais and TF1's Combien ça coûte?. From 2004 to 2006, she was a columnist on La Matinale at Canal+. She joined M6 in 2006, taking over as host for Classé Confidentiel and leading the first three seasons of La France a un incroyable talent. She also hosted the French adaptation of Farmer Wants a Wife and participated in the promotional campaign for Lancôme's Magnifique in 2008.
In June 2009, she transitioned to France Télévisions. Besides C à vous, she co-hosted various charity shows and, since September 2013, has been presenting Fais-moi une place on France 5. In January 2014, she began hosting the variety show Tenue de soirée exigée on France 2, and later launched the talk show Un soir à la Tour Eiffel in October 2014, which concluded in June 2015.
