Sahajak Boonthanakit
Sahajak Boonthanakit was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and spent more than a decade in Nairobi, Kenya, before relocating to New York for over twenty years. His acting career began on stage in Nairobi, where he honed his craft for four years. Upon returning to Thailand, he made his film debut in 1999 with a role in "The Beach," which starred Leonardo DiCaprio. This was shortly followed by his performance in "Broke Down Palace," featuring Claire Danes.
Since then, Sahajak has appeared in an extensive array of over 80 productions. Notable films in his repertoire include "Only God Forgives" (2013), where he starred alongside Ryan Gosling and Kristen Scott Thomas, "The Lady" (2011) with Michelle Yeoh and David Thewlis, and "No Escape" (2015), which featured Pierce Brosnan and Owen Wilson. His diverse experiences and international background have contributed to a rich and varied acting career, making him a well-respected figure in the film industry.
