Pepi Sonuga
Pepi Sonuga is an emerging talent in the entertainment industry, captivating audiences on both film and television. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, she relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 10 to pursue her dreams in the arts. At just 15, Sonuga achieved recognition by winning the title of Miss Jr. Teen Los Angeles during a local pageant, which marked the beginning of her modeling career. She has since collaborated with well-known brands such as Hot Topic, Forever 21, and Skechers.
Sonuga's formal training in the performing arts began at Culver City High School, where she delved into theater, improvisation, and scriptwriting. Her acting career took off with her feature in the 2013 film, *The Life of a King*, which tells the inspiring true story of Eugene Brown, portrayed by Cuba Gooding Jr.
On television, she gained attention for her roles in Starz's cult favorite, *Ash vs Evil Dead*, and had a recurring role in the popular Freeform series, *The Fosters*. Most recently, she starred in the Freeform drama *Famous in Love*, showcasing her versatility over two seasons. Looking ahead, Sonuga will appear in the horror film *Thriller*, directed by Dallas Jackson, where she stars alongside Mykelti Williamson and RZA. The film, which premiered at the LA Film Festival in 2018, follows a group of South Central Los Angeles teens facing the consequences of a childhood prank gone awry during Homecoming weekend.
