Teresa Espinosa
Teresa Espinosa hails from Dallas, Texas, and has established herself as a prominent dancer and choreographer over the past 21 years since her graduation from CalArts. Her career took off at the age of 24 when she received an Emmy Award nomination for her choreography in Janet Jackson’s HBO special, Velvet Rope, which also led her to tour the globe as one of Jackson's dancers. This early recognition foreshadowed a remarkable trajectory in the entertainment industry.
Throughout her career, Teresa has collaborated with a multitude of iconic artists, including Prince, Britney Spears, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Pink, Rihanna, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, and Sofia Carson. Her choreography and performance credits span a wide array of television shows, live performances, commercials, and films. Notable appearances include The Oprah Winfrey Show, Ellen, The X Factor, and America’s Best Dance Crew, as well as major award shows like the Billboard Awards and American Music Awards. She has also contributed to films such as You Got Served, End of Watch, and the Magic Mike franchise.
Most recently, Teresa has taken on the role of Associate Director and Choreographer for Magic Mike Live, which is currently captivating audiences at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. With her extensive experience and impressive portfolio, Teresa Espinosa continues to leave a significant mark on the world of dance and choreography.
