Sathish Ninasam

Shivakumar, widely recognized by his stage name Sathish Ninasam, is a prominent Indian actor in the Kannada film industry. He embarked on his cinematic journey with a minor role in the film Madesha in 2008. Following this debut, Sathish garnered attention through notable performances in films such as Manasaare, Pancharangi, Lifeu Ishtene, and Drama, where he showcased his versatility in supporting roles.

Sathish's roots lie in theatre, having honed his acting skills with Ninasam, a cultural organization in Heggodu, Karnataka. After a brief foray into television, he made the pivotal transition to films. His significant breakthrough came in 2013 with the psychological drama Lucia, a film that not only captivated audiences but also earned him critical acclaim. In Lucia, Sathish portrayed the character Nikki, a movie theater usher grappling with insomnia who discovers a drug that allows him to escape into a dream world. In the same year, Sathish further solidified his reputation with his role in Dyavre, which also received praise from critics. His performance in the film Drama earned him a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Comedian, marking a noteworthy highlight in his career.
