Geoffrey M. McGivern is a versatile British actor, comedian, and voice artist, celebrated for his contributions across film, television, radio, and stage. He is perhaps most renowned for his portrayal of Ford Prefect in the original radio adaptation of Douglas Adams' iconic sci-fi series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, from 1978 to 1980. McGivern continued to embody this beloved character in subsequent radio series produced by BBC Radio 4 until 2018, as well as in various LP releases.
