Angela Curri

Angela Curri has been captivated by the world of performance since childhood. Her journey began when she competed in the Zecchino d’Oro competition in 2003, showcasing her talent early on. She made her film debut in Susanna Tamaro's “Nel mio amore,” and subsequently appeared in Giorgio Capitani’s limited series “Edda” and Sergio Rubini’s “La terra.” Notably, she portrayed Saint Agnes in the film “Francesco” and played the character Bea in the acclaimed series “Braccialetti Rossi 2.” Additionally, she featured in the TV series “La mafia uccide solo d’estate,” further solidifying her presence in the entertainment industry.

In 2018, Angela collaborated with director Cosimo Terlizzi on the film “Dei,” followed by a role in Luca Viotto's “Raffaello: il Principe delle Arti.” The following year, she took on the lead role in “Artemisia Gentileschi, Warrior Painter,” directed by Jordan River, which showcased her versatility and depth as an actress.

Her talents have not gone unnoticed, as she received the Cinema Donna award at the 22nd International Inventa un Film Festival in 2020, along with a Special Mention at the XXIV Terra di Siena International Film Festival the same year.
