Acheson emerged as a founding member of the Janus Theatre, where he honed his craft over eight years, performing on notable stages such as the Arts Club Theatre and The Belfry, alongside other regional venues.
Transitioning into film and television in his 30s, Acheson made a significant impact with memorable supporting roles. He is perhaps best recognized for his portrayal of the Mailroom Guy in the beloved holiday film *Elf* and Mr. Tripoli in the critically acclaimed series *Fargo*.
