Lubor Tokoš was a distinguished Czech actor known for his work in theater, film, and television, as well as contributions to radio. His unique voice made a lasting impression on audiences, and he gained significant recognition for his role as Simon Hart in the classic film *VYNÁLEZ ZKÁZY*, directed by Karel Zeman.

Before embarking on his acting career, Tokoš attended a military gymnasium, initially starting in the theater as a prompter. His theatrical journey led him through various notable theaters across the Czech Republic, including those in Hodonín, Brno, Uherské Hradiště, Ostrava, Prague, Olomouc, and Zlín, until he decided to leave the stage in 1985.

In addition to his theatrical work, Tokoš made significant contributions to radio, recording over a thousand programs and reading for the visually impaired at the Karel Emanuel Macan studio in Prague. His filmography includes numerous memorable roles, with noteworthy performances in films such as *SMRT KRÁSNÝCH SRNCŮ* (1986), *O PRINCEZNĚ JASNĚNCE A LÉTAJÍCÍM ŠEVCI* (1987), and *GOLET V ÚDOLÍ* (1995). Tokoš's artistic achievements were recognized in 2002 when he was awarded the Thálie Prize for lifetime achievement, solidifying his legacy in the Czech performing arts.
