Efim Graboy
Efim Graboy, a talented filmmaker born in 1989 in Kazan, Russia, relocated to Israel at the tender age of 10. He honed his craft at Tel Aviv University, where he graduated from its esteemed film school. Graboy quickly gained recognition in the cinematic world, with his short films earning accolades at various international film festivals. Notably, in 2019, his short film "Valley of the Rulers" received a nomination for the prestigious International Documentary Association's award for Best Short Film.
Graboy's career took a significant leap with the release of his debut feature, "The War of Raya Sinitsina." The film premiered at the renowned Full Frame Documentary Film Festival and went on to capture nine international awards. Among these were honors for Best Directing and Best Cinematography at DocAviv, showcasing his exceptional talent in storytelling and visual artistry. Additionally, his work has been recognized by the Israeli Documentary Association and earned a Special Prize for High Artistic Achievements in Documentary from the Russian Documentary Film and Television Guild.
