Yuriy Stoyanov
Yuriy Stoyanov is a prominent Soviet and Russian actor, musician, and director, celebrated for his contributions to theater and film. Recognized as a People's Artist of the Russian Federation in 2001, Stoyanov gained widespread fame for his collaborative work on the beloved television comedy series "Gorodok," which aired from 1993 to 2012 alongside fellow performer Ilya Oleinikov.
In 2015, he took on a new role as an adviser within the directorate of the FGUP VGTRK State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, further solidifying his influence in the industry. On September 25 of the same year, he participated in theatrical readings of Anton Chekhov’s works, showcasing his versatility and dedication to classic literature.
On October 30, 2018, Stoyanov was appointed to the Council on Public Television by a decree from the President of the Russian Federation, emphasizing his standing in the cultural sphere. In April 2020, he expanded his creative outlets by launching a YouTube channel titled “Clean Neighing,” where he shares humorous content inspired by contemporary themes. The videos maintain the comedic spirit of "Gorodok," with Stoyanov portraying all the characters, allowing him to continue entertaining audiences in a fresh and engaging way.
