Tanya Jade's journey into the world of acting began unexpectedly with a playful dare, igniting her innate talent for performance. Since her debut in 2014, she has amassed an impressive portfolio, featuring over twenty-five films, two television series, six stage productions, and numerous commercials and music videos. Her recent projects include the acclaimed film *All Joking Aside*, directed by Shannon Kohli, known for her work on *Supergirl* and *Van Helsing*, and the Lifetime movie *Soccer Mom Madam*, directed by Kevin Fair.
In addition to her acting, Tanya is making strides as a filmmaker. Her first short film, *Wallpaper*, which she wrote and directed, is currently making its way through the festival circuit. Furthermore, she made her commercial directing debut with a captivating TV spot for the Winter Arts Festival in Perth, which she also conceptualized, choreographed, and performed in.
Tanya's multicultural background enriches her performances, allowing her to embody a wide array of characters and resonate with diverse audiences. Dedicated to honing her craft, she has pursued extensive training, including the prestigious Summer Intensive Program at Atlantic Acting School in New York and ongoing mentorship under acclaimed coach Andrew McIlroy.
With a strong foundation in dance, fluency in Mandarin and conversational Spanish, and skills in scuba diving and stunts, Tanya’s versatility is matched only by her unwavering commitment to every role she undertakes.
