Born in Flushing, Queens, New York, Hardy hails from a Puerto Rican background and grew up as the youngest of five siblings, with three older brothers and an older sister named Suzanne.

Hardy’s wrestling career began in 2010 when she became a prominent interviewer and commentator for the MTV2 series *Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors*, which highlighted the growth of lucha libre in the United States. She made her in-ring debut on March 19, 2011, under her ring name Rebecca Reyes, participating in a tag team match alongside Nikki Corleone and ODB. Throughout her tenure with Lucha Libre USA, she engaged in various bouts, including a lingerie match against Lady Luck.

Transitioning to the independent circuit from 2011 to 2014, Hardy made her debut at Extreme Air Wrestling, teaming with notable wrestlers like Paul London and Brian Kendrick. She had memorable encounters for the NWA Mid-Atlantic Ladies Championship and ultimately triumphed over Jayme Jameson at the inaugural SHINE Wrestling event.
