Frank Wilton Marshall, born on September 13, 1946, is a prominent American film producer and director renowned for his extensive contributions to the film industry. He frequently collaborates with his wife, Kathleen Kennedy, with whom he co-founded Amblin Entertainment alongside legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg. In 1991, the duo established The Kennedy/Marshall Company, which has become a significant player in film production. Following Kennedy's appointment as President of Lucasfilm in May 2012, Marshall has been the sole principal of the company.

Throughout his career, Marshall has teamed up with acclaimed directors such as Spielberg, Paul Greengrass, and M. Night Shyamalan, among others. His directorial credits include notable films such as Arachnophobia (1990), Alive (1993), Congo (1995), and Eight Below (2006), as well as documentaries like The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart (2020) and Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story (2022).

Marshall has played a pivotal role in producing iconic film franchises, including Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Bourne, and Jurassic Park, earning five Academy Award nominations for Best Picture.
