Jasmine Burke
Jasmine Burke is a multifaceted American actress, filmmaker, singer, and author hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. She pursued her education on a full scholarship at Kennesaw State University and later attended Harvard University. Jasmine's love for the performing arts developed early on as she participated in numerous musical theater productions at prestigious venues.
Her transition to film and television proved successful, with notable appearances in projects such as *The Secret Life of Bees*, *Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns*, *Army Wives*, *Ride Along*, and *The Vampire Diaries*. After years of dedication, she secured prominent roles in Bounce TV's top-rated series *Saints and Sinners*, where she portrayed the captivating Dr. Christie, and Fox's acclaimed show *Star* as the endearing salon stylist Danielle. Jasmine's career continues to flourish, with recent roles in the BET romantic comedy *Angrily Ever After* and as both star and producer of TVOne's *Skinned*.
In 2009, she ventured into filmmaking, writing, executive producing, and directing her debut comedy *Lucky Lotto*, which won accolades at the 2010 Women in Film and Television International Short Film Showcase, including a directing award at the WIFTA's.
