Fiamma Maglione
Fiamma Maglione was a multifaceted talent in the Italian film industry, known for her collaborations with her husband, producer Mino Loy. During the early 1980s, she made her mark as an actress and composer, contributing music to several of Loy's projects, including Umberto Lenzi's notorious cannibal films, *Cannibal Ferox* and *Eaten Alive*. She also participated in Lenzi's later venture, the *Blue Lagoon* inspired film, *Daughter of the Jungle*.
In addition to her musical contributions, Maglione held notable roles in various Italian exploitation films. She portrayed the ex-wife of James Franciscus in the disaster film *Concorde: Airport '79* and served as Mr. Desmond's secretary in the horror classic *Nightmare City*.
As the 1980s progressed, Fiamma transitioned to focus on post-production and sound mixing, showcasing her versatility in the industry. Unfortunately, her promising career was cut short when she succumbed to cancer in 2003. Despite her passing, Fiamma Maglione's contributions to cinema, particularly in the realm of Italian exploitation films, continue to resonate with fans and filmmakers alike.
