Mason Thames (pronounced /θeɪmz/, born July 10, 2007) is an up-and-coming actor who gained widespread recognition with his impressive performance in the acclaimed horror film The Black Phone (2021). Directed by Scott Derrickson and based on a short story by Joe Hill, Thames portrayed the young lead alongside notable actors such as Madeleine McGraw and Ethan Hawke. The film was a significant success, grossing over $161 million worldwide—ten times its production cost—under the banner of Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures.

Following his breakout role, Thames starred in Monster Summer (2024), an adventure horror film directed by David Henrie, sharing the screen with stars like Mel Gibson and Kevin James.
